The media's ability to adequately cover and report on any subject is a function of access, and, often in the event world, convenience. Much of the promotional value of an event is driven by the media coverage it generates and, as such, our event coordination team has to view the media as a primary constituent in the overall plan. Além supports press activities with media operations, including aerial observation and camera work; communications network coordination; marine, train and horseback media management; and general moving media coverage.
Além coordinates media coverage and mobility for moving events such as road cycling races, mountain bike races, marathons, triathlons, race walks and equestrian contests. Our services have been utilized by almost every major network and cable outlet in the world, including ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, BBC, CBC, NHK (Japan) , RTL (Germany), Channel Seven (Australia) and many others. To better service these broadcast outlets for live coverage, Além uses proprietary interface equipment for microwave and RF transmission, and has helped NBC Sports win several Emmy Awards for its coverage.
