Gillian Hamburger, President
Gillian oversees daily and strategic operations as well as development for the international sports and events management company. Gillian has worked with numerous prominent clients, executing programs ranging from BMW new product launches in Europe and North America, to operations and hospitality support of global sporting events including the Olympic Games. Gillian has continued to build and promote Olympic Torch Relays, including consulting for the Nagano 1998 and Sydney 2000 Torch Relays on all core elements of development and operations. For the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Gillian was the Deputy Director of the Torch Relay, and she was General Manager - Operations for the Athens 2004 Olympic Torch Relay, which included all internal and external components of project management. Gillian supported the communications and advance teams for the Rio 2007 Pan American Games Torch Relay. Gillian was the lead consultant for Além for computer manufacturer Lenovo, assisting with the development of their sponsorship and activation plans for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Torch Relay. She has also provided consulting services for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee. While Além\'s global activities have filled Gillian\'s passport, Colorado is her home. Locally, Gillian has worked with the Metro Denver Sports Commission helping plan and execute Sportaccord 2009, a global conference of the top 1,500 decision makers of international sport. Além and Gillian also worked extensively with the Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention in 2008 on events including the Media Party at Elitch Gardens, the Green Concert at Red Rocks and nightly hospitality during the Convention. Gillian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a concentration in Environmental Policy from Cornell University, where she also lettered in Women\'s Lacrosse.
